2020 was a good year for sunsets. Vibrant colors were due in part to wildfire smoke that drifted across the continent. The corona virus was also a factor. We stayed home more so we were positioned to shoot more sunsets. Some were subtle. Many were spectacular. Here are favorites. Unless otherwise noted, I shot these at our home on Wisconsin’s Green Bay. Most with a Lumix DMC-G7, some with a Fuji XP120 or a Nikon P500, and a few with a Pixel 3 phone.

  1. It’s true that all the pictures are spectacular but the ones from March 14th and December 3rd are my favorites. Thank you for sharing. The photos give a sense of awe.

  2. March 14 #1, March 21 – great shots over ice floes. August 3, with backlit flowers. Stunning, calendar material – make one for everyone you haven’t figured out a gift for!
