2020 was a good year for sunsets. Vibrant colors were due in part to wildfire smoke that drifted across the continent. The corona virus was also a factor. We stayed home more so we were positioned to shoot more sunsets. Some were subtle. Many were spectacular. Here are favorites. Unless otherwise noted, I shot these at our home on Wisconsin’s Green Bay. Most with a Lumix DMC-G7, some with a Fuji XP120 or a Nikon P500, and a few with a Pixel 3 phone.
I may add more before the end of the year. If you scrolled this far, thank you!
It’s true that all the pictures are spectacular but the ones from March 14th and December 3rd are my favorites. Thank you for sharing. The photos give a sense of awe.
Thanks for the feedback!
March 14 #1, March 21 – great shots over ice floes. August 3, with backlit flowers. Stunning, calendar material – make one for everyone you haven’t figured out a gift for!
Thank you! Does anyone still use paper calendars? 🙂
